Research Interests

Our research programs focus on carbohydrate chemistry and carbohydrate-based drug discovery. We developed a series of novel photo-induced glycosylation methods and continue to study the synthesis and evaluation of biologically important oligosaccharides. We also explore new methodologies for the preparation of carbohydrate mimetics, such as C -glycosyl compounds, fluorinated sugars, and continue to investigate their biological activities.
